Trench drain cover replacement

The original 4" wide trench drain was plastic with a plastic cover.  The drain was not meant to have fork truck traffic driven over it.  After time it caved in causing a trip hazard.  We were called in to horizontal saw cut inside the drain into the concrete sides of the drain on both sides making it 6" wide and vertical cut to a 1" depth. The new cast iron drain cover fit flush to the floor and rested on the new horizontal concrete cut surface.
