Q:
Can you cut material other than concrete?
A: Yes, though Ohio Concrete Sawing &
Drilling specializes in concrete, Ohio Concrete Sawing &
Drilling can cut through brick, asphalt, steel, wood, refractory
brick, and solid granite. Although Ohio Concrete Sawing &
Drilling often get requests for cutting through ground frost,
we are unable to do it.
Q: How far will you travel to do a job?
A: While most Ohio Concrete Sawing &
Drilling jobs are within 100 miles of our office, Ohio Concrete
Sawing & Drilling will travel as far as necessary to meet
our customer’s needs. Ohio Concrete has traveled as
far as Tennessee, New York, and Arizona to do special jobs.

Q:
What are your hole drilling capabilities?
A: Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling has bits from 1/2"
to 2.5" in 1/8" increments; from 3" to 6"
in 1/2" increments; from 6" to 12" in 1"
increments; from 12" to 30" in 2" increments.
In addition, Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling has 32",
36", 42", 48" and 60" bits and Ohio Concrete
always has the ability to purchase larger bits or any special
size that Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling customer's desire.
Q: Can you drill a hole upside down or on an angle?
A: Yes, Ohio Concrete's drilling rig can be set up to operate
upside down and can be adjusted to drill on any angle.
Q: What is the deepest hole you can drill?
A: With the drilling equipment presently in Ohio Concrete
Sawing & Drilling's inventory, the depth of a hole is
almost unlimited. The deepest hole Ohio Concrete Sawing &
Drilling has drilled is 120'!

Q:
How close can you cut to an adjacent wall or floor?
A: Due in part to recent developments in blade design, Ohio
Concrete Sawing & Drilling can cut flush with adjacent
walls and floors. Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling can
also cut walls at angles other than perpendicular to the wall
surface.
Q: Do you have to use water when sawing?
A: No, it is possible to saw without water. However, when
sawing dry, dust control can be more difficult than controlling
the water used in normal sawing.
Q: How deep can you saw on a wall?
A: Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling is currently able to
cut 30" deep, which allows us to cut through a wall 60"
thick. If, however, Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling has
a request for a deeper cut, larger blades are available and
would be purchased to handle the job.
Q: Can you saw on a ceiling?
A: Yes, ceiling sawing, as well as sawing at odd angles, is
well within Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling capabilities.

Q:
How deep can you saw on a floor?
A: As with wall sawing, Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling
has the ability to cut 30" deep. Larger blades can be
purchased if deeper cutting is required.
Q: How close can you cut to an adjacent wall?
A: Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling can cut within 2"
of the adjacent wall using a parallel cut. With a perpendicular
cut, Ohio Concrete is able to cut flush to the wall.

Do you have any specialized sawing applications?
A: Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling is able to groove floors
to improve traction in slippery areas, grind the surface of
slabs to eliminate uneven floor surfaces, and create rumble
strips to slow traffic.

Can you install bumper posts?
A: Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling installs 50-100 bumper
posts per month. We normally keep 4" and 6" posts
in stock so Ohio Concrete Sawing & Drilling can quickly
respond to your needs.
